Time line?

So I've been noticing people just sorta posting at random or wherever they want, which nothing is wrong with that but we need a sorts of time line going on so that way we know how things progressed and we know what happened when.

How does one fix that? Post in one topic at a time?

I think a timeline would be more appropriate to do once we've gained more members. If you haven't noticed, it's the same people posting with the same people because we don't have a larger crowd at the moment to allow variety and different adventures/stories. I don't think a timeline should be applied until we have a larger member count. Just an opinion~

I don't mean one topic at a time, I meant as in, have a thread dedicated to various characters personal timelines. It's so we can mostly keep track of who met who and when, plus what they were doing and once we get those basics established, we can better order the story, it's to easily inform and keep track of peooff's progress without having to read each and every thread and post

This idea slipped under my radar.
I was actually going to voluntarily make a timeline thread for Trever, to keep my own personal chronological records. But that's exactly all I think that should be. Voluntary. This is a fantasy roleplay, where people come to roleplay. Making something like that mandatory is just busy work to someone who doesn't want to do it, which makes the forum less fun. It may take five seconds to update, but some people just don't want to be bothered with that. If I were me only two years ago, I wouldn't want to be mandated to do that just to be able to rp on a site that's already so simple. We're not an advanced forum and we've never required 'records' and 'paperwork'. If we had some kind of money or experience system, then it would be logical to receipt it, but evidently that isn't the case here. This isn't a boring desk job, this is a fantasy setting. We shouldn't force the issue unless we feel the need to grow and become a more complicated forum.
